Interactive Workshop and Networking - The Moller Centre

Date: Thursday 12th November, 2009
Venue: The Moller Centre - Off Madingley Road. 6.30pm in the Tower Bar

Networking and canapes followed by an interactive workshop with ex-JCI Cambridge president Colin Chrebelski.

“Recent surveys have said that good leadership will be one of the most important factors to help organisations ride the global downturn.

Getting 20% more from 20% less is a common theme as is the fact that most managers under 40 have never experienced the need to lead during a recession.

This interactive session will cover:

Manager / leader difference
The challenging of making the transition to leading others
The leadership ‘pipeline’ – critical change points
The evolution of leadership – from position power to personal power
Current trends
o Servant leadership

o Level 5 leadership

o Creating followership
Actions to work on.

Colin Chrebelski is a past president of JCI Cambridge and Senator of JCI. He runs his own people development business and specialises in the areas of leadership and management development. He works with a wide range of national and international organisations and will share his passion about helping people develop their potential. In the session he will explain some of his insights into the subject of leadership and share some recent trends.”
